Just How Many Hairdos Can My Hair do?

Here's a good depiction of the endless possibilities with curly hairstyles.  Some of them I have tried.  For example, I am a huge fan of the messy bun.  As a busy mom, it's extremely convenient to be able to tie it all up and go.  For my daughters, I often do two-strand twists and box braids.  It keeps their hair neat and has the added advantage of being "protective" styling...

  1. My daughter is bi-racial too. It's always hard to find products that I like in her hair, but when I find them I stick to them...until the company changes the formula, and I have to find something else. I like to use Cantu Shea Butter Super Shine Hair Silk, Olive Oil ORS Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion, and Blue Magic Organics Indian Hemp in her hair. The hair lotion keeps the moisture in, the hair silk seals it in and smells so nice...and I use the Blue Magic to grease her scalp. As long as I wash her hair at least every other week it's not too heavy.
